To clip or not to clip?

Scissors For many American, Sunday mornings mean a cup of coffee, a pair of scissors and a stack of coupon circulars; and I was one of them. For a while, I even subscribe to Sunday's newspaper and it had been my routine for quite sometimes. And for those who choose not to clip, there's a nagging, guilty feeling that you are throwing away cash or passed up the chance of saving money; and I have been feeling it since I stopped my subscription. It sudden dawn on me when one of my friends ask me this question...to clip or not to clip?

No doubt about it, with coupons, people may buy products they wouldn't normally buy. In this case the manufacturers use it as a marketing device to sell or promote products. It also cause you to go out of your way, just to save a few bucks. Of course, coupons are useful when they save you money on what you are already planning to buy or really need. So what the conclusion? Its really depend entirely on you...as for me, I still try to collect coupons that are available through the mail or those found in the store.

What I love about Spring...

Spring20th March marks the beginning of Spring, one of my favourite season. It renews my faith more than any other season of the year. When flowers start to bloom and trees produce buds, when birds start singing for the joy of spring, I am reminded that God lets all things have a new beginning. And a new beginning shall it be...

This is what I called an "Afternoon Delight"...

...a venti iced Caramel Macchiato and a Chocolate Chocolate Cupcake from Starbucks. Aha...what a treat and yet how sinful it will be!

I came across this "new" favourite two weeks ago while Jason is on TDY. The very first time I tried it, I don't really like it cause it's too sweet for me. I think the main reason is that the barristers added too much caramel in the drink. On my next visit, I asked for only three swirls of caramel instead. Wohoo...the sweetness is just right for me. I try to have it on alternate day (trying to minimise the fattening effect)...hahaha...wondering when I will get sick of it...

Hey! That's Blood Orange!

Delicious The blood orange is a variety of orange with crimson, blood-coloured flesh and the outer skin features dark washes of red. It tastes better than regular oranges; an intense orange taste with a hint of fresh raspberry. Its flavour varies from variety and amount of heat. You are able to find these from November to May.

I saw it at Commissionary yesterday and decided to buy some to try, having read about it before. It has a very special taste, very different from the naval orange. It's very sweet, less acidic than the regular one. It's definitely something worth to give it a try!

Las Vegas Again...

RaiseWe went to Las Vegas again during the CNY holiday. As usual…eating, shopping & gambling were on our itinerary. Not forgetting a visit to Bellagio Garden for their CNY Theme decoration. To me, their deco is top-notched and it had always fascinated me. So enjoy those photos then…

Another thing where we had wanting to do is to watch “O”- Cirque du Soleil at Bellagio (a show where 81 artists, performing in, on and above a 1.5 million gallon pool of water) and this is the third time we couldn’t get tickets! Been telling myself to get tickets beforehand but had always been procrastinating. However, we will definitely watch it before we go back to Singapore.
